FAQ

What are your sheets made of?

The products are either 100% cotton, organic cotton, or a 50/50 cotton/polyester blend. See the individual product pages for detailed information.

Where are your sheets produced?

All of our sheets are produced by hand in Manitoba, Canada.

How can I get in touch?

You can email us at hi@auroralinens.com or via the contact page. We do not have a phone number.

When will my order arrive?

While we largely produce our products on a per-order basis, we may have your model in stock already.

Purchases on in-stock models are generally processed within 2-4 business days. Models not already in-stock will have to be made on-demand, which may increase lead time.

Once your order is processed, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with the tracking number(s).

How my order arrive?

Orders are shipped via Canada Post. Orders to the USA will be sent via Canada Post, then handed off to USPS for final delivery.

Aurora Linens is not responsible for import fees, taxes, vats or any other customs fees should your package be processed by customs. Fees can range from 20% to 40% of the order total.  Also, be aware if customs does process your shipment you may experience delays. If packages are refused due to unexpected customs charges you will be charged for outgoing and incoming shipping charges as well as the refusal charges.  Unfortunately we have no control over these charges or delays and cannot predict what they might be, and therefore suggest you contact your local customs office for additional information. Thanks for your understanding.

Will I be charged sales tax?

Orders from Canada will be subject to GST. Manitoba orders are subject to PST.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping cost will vary, depending on your location. All of our orders ship from Winkler, Manitoba.

Can I return my purchase?

Unwashed, unused sheets can be returned for a refund. Used/washed sheets will be subject to a $10 processing fee upon return. Refunds will be returned to the original method of payment. You will be responsible for shipping your return to us. Please contact us to start a return.

Custom orders are non-refundable.

How do I care for my bedding?

All of our products are machine washable. We recommend washing with cold water and tumble drying on low.

The 100% cotton products are not pre-shrunk so they are a little bit larger to allow for shrinkage. The 50/50 products are pre-shrunk.

Why don't you make bedding for my model?

We've started producing for a limited number of LTV models to start. All of our products are hand-made, so producing them takes time and resources. Contact us if you have a model that we don't currently have listed and we'll see what we can do.

What is the thread count?

The thread count is around 300. While we do list the thread count of these sheets, we don't think it's an accurate representation of comfort. There is no industry standard for measuring thread count, so numbers very significantly per manufacturer.

A 2002 study by the Good Housekeeping Institute found that "seven out of eight sheets tested by the Good Housekeeping Institute flunked thread count tests." This means that the manufacturer just listed an thread count that was exaggerated.

Is my purchase secure?
